The BHAMBRA SM - 65, SM - 75 and SM -100 Series of horizontal opposed three roll Straighteners are essential for scale removal and initial straightening of black hot or as rolled and annealed bars prior to such operation as center less peeling, grinding etc., and for precision straightening and burnishing following drawing, center less peeling, grinding etc.

Machine Features:

• Frame: The frames are of heavy construction from M.S. Plates. The Base is so designed to collect and return coolant to the rolls.
• Main Drive: A single motor drive is provided for both work roll. The drive is taken from the motor through vee belts drives. The Main drive reduction gear boxes are totally enclosed and splash lubricated from the oil bath in the gear box case. The Gears are manufactured from steel through hardened. All shafts rotate in heavy-duty rollers bearings.
• Rolls: Rolls are manufactured from High Alloy Steels, through hardened and ground finished, Rolls fixed on two shafts operate in heavy duty P.B. Bushes Seals are provided to exclude dirt and lubricating solutions. Hand operated force Lubricating Pump will be provided with the machine.
• Rolls Adjustment: Provision is made to allow for horizontal setting of both the rolls to such the series of bar. This adjustment is through gears by means of Hand Wheel.
• Guide Adjustment: Provision is made to allow for vertical setting of both the guide plates such the size of the bars. The adjustment is through gears by means of hand wheels.
